Roast Records 013 - Nola Wonga by Roasting Party
Roast Records 013. Wow, this is a good one. A coffee from Indonesia, roasted by the established roasting party. Another London-based roastery. Let's dance right into this one.

The Cup
This was my first time trying an Indonisan coffee while on my mission to try coffees from all around the world. I was very pleased with Nola Wonga, as I could see it being used in a variety of brew methods. As this was only a 100g bag, I couldn't experiment as much as I would normally, so I tried it in an AeroPress.
Punching flavours, heavy caramel but with sweet fruit, for instance, lime or lemon. A floral aroma with the taste notes suggesting honeysuckle. I would say this coffee has a high acidity.
Roasting Party's History
Roasting Party was founded in February 2018 in Winchester, Hampshire, and rapidly expanded to their flagship store in Chelsea, London. With Australian roots, Roasting Party brought the Aussie coffee experience to the UK.
Their ethos is all about people and what coffee can do for communities and people. Roasting Party also has great brew tutorials and behind-the-scenes content.

Culmination
To finish Nola Wonga by Roasting Party is a great Southern Asian coffee that shows exactly what Indonesian coffee is.
Priced at £58.00 a kg, which is a respected middle ground, I believe this is definitely worth the price. Just to add, their packaging is really cool with the graphic on the showcase card.
